Walks and talks in Sintra: The middle aged São Pedro village

Hello! One of the things that makes my life magical is to show Sintra to those who do not know it. I am a local and i love my village. Walking is part of my weekly routine, once or twice a week i pick my walking shoes and go through the village and up the mountain. Showing the love I have for my town by telling local stories, stories about kings and queens, history, beautiful framing viewpoints, the magical woods, places that only the locals heard about and the whole town of charm, including their chalets, castles and palaces gives me the greatest pleasure. In the background is just being a cicerone to make sure there are no doubts or misrepresentations about Sintra, in order for you to take Sintra in your heart. RNAAT nº34/2014

The middle aged São Pedro village

Did you know that São Pedro was a former place to kept lepers away from society? And that you still can find churches from XII century? Its also a lovely spot to walk around with beautiful gardens and typical portugese houses. You know this and much more on 'The forgotten São Pedro middle aged history'.

THE WALKS:

-' First time in Sintra'; 2h30 hours in the morning ending at the Pena palace where you can start visits from there.

- ' The magic woods from Sintra' ; 3 hours walk, only woods and magic.

- ' The Most Romantic Walk Ever' ; a walk inside Pena park (entrance ticket not included), about the love story of D.Fernando II and his second wife Elise, the Pena park creators.

- ' São Pedro middle aged walk'; A village inside Sintra where locals live with a midle aged route.

- ' The monuments route'; passing by all the monuments talking about them.

- 'By Knights Templar paths in Sintra'; a walk in Knights Templar lands in Sintra.

The walks are private.

They all include History contextualization and/or local stories .

All about 3 hours.

The price is 25€ per person.

No visits inside monuments.
